Privacy Policy for DTS: Employee

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share your personal information when you use the "DTS: Employee" mobile application (the "App"). This App is intended for use by employees of Yara only.
1. Information We Collect:
We collect the following types of information through the App:
- Personal Identification Information: This includes your name, employee ID, and potentially your department or work location, which is necessary to verify your eligibility to use the App and for booking purposes.
- Booking Information: When you book a bus, taxi, or guest house, we collect details related to your booking, such as the selected route, date, time, pick-up/drop-off locations, guest house location, and any specific requests.
- Device Information: We may collect information about your mobile device, including the device model, operating system, unique device identifiers (such as IMEI or device ID), and mobile network information. This helps us to optimize the App for your device and for troubleshooting.
- Usage Data: We may collect information about how you use the App, such as the features you access, the time and duration of your usage, and any errors you encounter. This helps us to improve the App's functionality and user experience.
- Location Data (Optional): Depending on the features implemented in the future, we may request access to your device's location services to facilitate pick-up for taxi bookings. If we collect location data, we will ask for your explicit consent and explain how it will be used.
Note: New user registration is not supported in this application. Access is restricted to registered users who can log in using their existing credentials. User accounts are managed by the Yara administration through the backend.
2. How We Use Your Information:
We use your personal information for the following purposes:
- To Provide and Manage Services: To process your bookings for buses, taxis, and guest houses, manage your reservations, and provide you with the services you request.
- To Verify Your Identity: To verify that you are a legitimate employee of Yara and eligible to use the App.
- To Communicate with You: To send you booking confirmations, updates, reminders, and respond to your inquiries or complaints.
- To Improve the App: To analyze usage patterns and identify areas for improvement in the App's functionality, design, and user experience.
- For Internal Record Keeping: To maintain records of bookings and usage for administrative and reporting purposes within Yara.
- To Address Complaints and Provide Support: To investigate and resolve any complaints you raise through the App.
- For Security Purposes: To help maintain the security and integrity of the App and prevent unauthorized access or use.
3. Sharing Your Information:
Your personal information will be shared with the following parties for the purposes described above:
- Yara Internal Departments: Relevant departments within Yara responsible for managing transportation and guest house services will have access to your booking information.
- Service Providers: We may share your booking details with third-party service providers who facilitate the bus and taxi services (e.g., transport companies) and manage the guest houses. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request, such as a court order or government investigation.

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include technical, administrative, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. However, please understand that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure.

We will retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, as outlined in this Privacy Policy, and as required by Yara's internal policies and applicable laws. Booking records may be retained for a longer period for audit and reporting purposes.
6. Your Rights:
Depending on applicable laws, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, or delete your information. Please contact the relevant HR or IT department within Yara to exercise these rights, as the App itself may not provide direct access to these functionalities.
7. Changes to this Privacy Policy:
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App or through other communication channels within Yara. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
